The Essential Work of Victim Recovery, After-care and Re-Integration

Alongside law enforcement, and an essential element of a cohesive strategy to eradicate commercial sexual exploitation and trafficking of children, are the additional agencies and NGOs that support rescue, recovery and aftercare for victims and their families.

Successful reintegration requires purposeful recovery programming, and economic and social inclusion.  People need a stable and safe living situation, mental, physical and emotional support and wellbeing, an ability to earn a reasonable living. The educational, counseling, medical care, financial assistance, housing, job training, and placement programs offered by these non-profit, mission-oriented organizations all form critical components of an integrated victim recovery and re-integration.
